Academic Review Day - Friday 10th November 2023

Dear Parents/Carers,

On Friday 10th November, school is closed for all pupils due to Academic Review Day. 

Academic Review Day is the format we use instead of parents' evening as it allows more flexibility for parents/carers to book an appointment to see their child’s teachers around other commitments. 

It is an expectation that all parents book an appointment please as it is vital that we work in partnership with families to give your child the best chance of success.

Teachers are available from 8am - 6pm for 15 minute appointments to talk about your child’s progress, attainment, behaviour and attendance. You can also use this opportunity to see your child’s books and school work. 

Ms Bridson, our Safeguarding Officer is also available all day to book an appointment should you wish to discuss any ways we can support your family.

Ms Smyth, our SENDCO is available to book an appointment in the afternoon should you wish to discuss any challenges or barriers your child may have to accessing their education. 

Later today, or possibly tomorrow, our communication system (which we use to text you) will generate a link and send it to you to use to book an appointment with your child’s class teacher for next Friday. 

If you are having trouble accessing this and wish to book an appointment by phone, please call the office to arrange this on 01454867180 or email admin@tyndaleprimary.co.uk.

If you do not book an appointment, the class teacher will give you a call to problem solve with you and overcome any barriers to your attendance at Academic Review Day.
