Key Worker Information
After schools shut their gates on the afternoon of Friday 20th March, they will remain closed until further notice except for CHILDREN OF KEY WORKERS and VULNERABLE CHILDREN, as part of the country's ongoing response to Coronavirus.
Whilst we are currently waiting on what professions are categorised as 'Key Workers' for now we are ONLY collecting information regarding any parents who work for the NHS, Police, or is a Delivery Driver who need to be able to go to work to support the country's fight to tackle Coronavirus. Vulnerable children include those who have a social worker and those with Education, Health and Care Plans - a legal document that describes a child's special educational needs and the support they require.
We need to understand how many children we can expect to attend school so that we can arrange accurate supervision numbers, and so that we can safeguard your children. If you book a place for your child, and they do not attend school as expected, we will contact you in the normal way to report this as an unauthorised absence.
YOU ONLY NEED TO INFORM US IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON SENDING YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL DURING THE CLOSURE.
Please inform us if you are a key worker by contacting the school office or emailing admin@tyndaleprimary.co.uk
WE WILL SEND OUT FURTHER CORRESPONDENCE ONCE KEY WORKERS HAVE BEEN CATEGORISED
