Change of leadership at Tyndale Primary School
Dear Parents and Carers,
I am writing to share that Ms Parkhouse, Headteacher at Tyndale Primary School, has announced her relocation to Bracknell after successfully applying for the headship position at Sandy Lane Primary School, also part of Greenshaw Learning Trust. Ms Parkhouse will continue to be part of the wider Tyndale family as a senior leader in the Trust. She will remain in post until 21st April 2025.
Over the past four years, Ms Parkhouse has made an outstanding contribution to Tyndale Primary School, bringing much-needed stability and driving significant improvements. Under her leadership, the school moved from special measures to achieving a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in 2023 and for the first time in its history, Tyndale has a waiting list to start in Reception. I am sure you will join me in wishing her the best as she moves to Sandy Lane Primary School.
We are grateful to Mr Crouch, Deputy Headteacher, for agreeing to step in as Acting Headteacher whilst the recruitment process for Katie’s successor is underway. Mr Crouch leadership has also been instrumental in Tyndale’s continued improvement journey and he brings continuity and stability to our school community. With his extensive understanding of the school, its pupils, and the wider community, we are confident he will provide strong leadership, ensuring the continued success of Tyndale as we recruit our new permanent Headteacher. We will work closely with Mr Crouch to ensure the transition is smooth and the staff and pupils remain thoroughly supported.
The recruitment process to appoint Ms Parkhouse’s successor will begin shortly and we aim to complete this before the Easter break, ready to start in September 2025.
My best wishes,
Mr Nicholas Manassei
(Chair of Governors)
